Conference Venue

The main conference will be held across two venues: Ishikawa Ongakudo and the Kanazawa Hotel. Because the venue is station-connected, simply follow signs within the station concourse to our event wayfinding; no outdoor walking is required.

Workshop Venue

Workshops will run on different days and take place at either the Kanazawa Hotel or Kanazawa Institute of Technology (KIT)—please check the daily program for each workshop’s assigned location.

Getting to Kanazawa

From Tokyo

Take the Hokuriku Shinkansen “Kagayaki” from Tokyo Station to Kanazawa. Fastest journey time is about 2 hr 30 min. Services are frequent throughout the day.

West Japan Railway ➔

From Osaka / Kyoto

Travelers transfer at Tsuruga. Take the Limited Express (Osaka/Kyoto → Tsuruga), then Hokuriku Shinkansen (Tsuruga → Kanazawa). Fastest journey time is about 2 hr 30 min. Services are frequent throughout the day.

Practical Information

Electricity: Japan uses 100 V. Kanazawa (western Japan) runs at 60 Hz. Plugs are Type A/B (US-style flat blades). Bring an adapter if needed.
