Overview and Deadlines

RoboSoft 2026 will be a high quality forum to interact across the boundaries of the different disciplines and range of topics, and it will be based on rigorously selected works bringing outstanding quality, originality and interest across disciplines.

The presentation format for the accepted extended abstracts is a poster. For accepted submissions, at least one author must present on site.

  • Submission: 8:00 AM on February 16, 2026 (GMT, UTC-0).
    = 11:59 PM on February 15, 2026 (PST).
  • Notification: March 2, 2026.

Submission

RoboSoft 2026 uses OpenReview as its submission system for conference papers. To be able to submit a paper, at least one author must be registered on OpenReview (ideally 7 days before the submission).

Extended abstracts may contain previously published material and therefore do not require anonymization. Authors should list their names and affiliations and must cite any prior related work by the same authors.

These works can either represent preliminary results or report already published work. For the latter case, the original publication should be clearly mentioned with a variation of “this work is an extract from the paper [x]”.

Format

The submission should be at least one page and at most two pages, plus an additional page for references. No short abstract is required before the main text in the manuscript, as the page limit is tight. These contributions will NOT be published in the proceedings. Papers should be formatted in standard IEEE two-column format, US letter size. Templates for LaTex and MS-Word are available at the RAS paper submission support page.

Videos may be submitted with your paper, though this is not mandatory, and should follow the following format:
